The October issue also encludes the complete rules for the following
year. It is a valuable guide for anyone who is interested in karting. |

Go-Kart racing, or Karting, is a motorsport which uses go-kart (go-carts) to race on scaled down circuits. Art Ingels built the first go-kart in 1956 in Southern California while working at Kurtis Kraft, a builder of Indy race cars. It's popularity has spread throughout the world. There are concession carts that can be rented, fun karts for home use and racing karts of various types.
The World Karting Association (WKA) is one organization that has
established standards to help keep kart racing safe and competetive, as
some karts can reach in excess of 160 mph.
